William Shakespeare was born on April 23, 1564 in the town of Stratford-upon-Avon, England.  His parents, Mary Arden and John Shakespeare, had eight children which he was the third.  He received a free education because of his father's position as alderman.
When he was a teenager, he decided a career as an actor would be good for him.  He built his career as an actor and became a popular member of the London theatre circuit.
When he was eighteen, he fell in love with Anne Hathaway.  His children were born soon after they were married.  His play writing success began with historical works.
After he established his career as an actor, he started writing poems and plays.  He later became the most renowned English playwright ever.  He is recognized by most of the world as the great dramatist ever.  He has written many great plays such as Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth, and Othello.
Shakespeare is so great because of his profound knowledge of the human behavior and all of its deviations from normal.
